Life in an architectural masterpiece, surrounded by greenery and urban culture

Paramount Rokko, at the foot of Mt. Rokko in the eastern part of Kobe, is a quiet, upscale residential area set in rich greenery
within an urban format.
Mt. Rokko was developed by the early residents of Kobe as a place to escape the summer heat. Now it is popular
as a sightseeing area with extensive facilities for golf, winter sports, and other outdoor activities.
Paramount Rokko was designed by Tadao Ando, and was the first housing complex in Japan to receive
the Japan Cultural Design Award. Acclaimed as an exquisite fusion of natural and man-made beauty, and a new style of apartment,
it is now known simply as the“Rokko Apartments”.
